Can't he get a lawyer and sue the lady for all the performance parts (If he has all the receipts of course)? It was her fault, why should you lose out because of her stupidity. I have an extra $2,000 on my coverage for performance upgrades.

My father in law just got his totaled out. It was a rear end situation. They gave him $1000 more than Fair Market Value and that was because he was a total dick to the insurance company and wouldn't release the vehicle or let them tow it from the tow lot.

Sucks that your stang is messed up but I am glad that you are okay. It is a good thing the cops were there, sounds like you have a solid story to max out what ever offer her insurance company offers.

My wife, who is a doctor, was hit by an uninsured last year. She had no injuries other than bruising, until a couple of months later, the disk in her neck gave out as a direct result of the accident.
If your insurance covers it, get your neck xray'd.

Also dig out the receipts for all the after market gear you bought. Ask for the money back. We got it.
