Hey why is there a lil red button in my 02 gt on the left of the steering wheel and u pull it out and its just wires cut? Is it a fake burglar alarm deal or what.

wow I bought my stang from the dealer it had 0 miles on it and was a 2002 gt brand new from facotry ford but its got that little red button on the left of steering wheel and its not connected at all i would post pic but i dunno how. You guys dont have one so is it some weird after market mod or did ford turn back the miles or what the hell?
