Has anyone else listed something on stangnet's classifieds and got really weird emails? I listed my stock v8 springs and got an email from a guy who claims to be a pilot from Denmark. He is offering me $700 for the springs. He also said that he wants to pay me with US postal money. Has someone else been scammed by this guy?

That guy has been around before as I recall. If it's who I'm thinking of, turn around and walk away.

It's too bad you cant search in here or you could get all the inside goodies.

Good luck.

If it were me I'd respond with a close-up picture of my sphincter followed by the question…"Do you know what a rim job is?"

I would go through with the deal and send the guy those little springs that come out of a pen.
Edit: With a sphincter picture.

might be some idiot

tell him you want the money first and if he sends it and you cash it its all good. but if it is a scam the pen springs and the picture are worth 37cents to send him. that is too funny.

yea definately a scam. This guy tried to send me a check for $100 for my $25 dollar clutch quad. He told me to cash the check and send the rest of the money back to him (haha f that). I knew it was a scam, he sent me the check, and i ripped it up. I got some wacky emails about how his father died and he is going to send the wraths of hell on me or something hilarious like that

He would probably offer 500 dollars for this picture, to be paid via his Nigerian bank account and to be picked up by his shipping company.
