Thats sucks , you got nailed the exact same spot I did in my cobra :nonono:

Really?

I'm just glad the cop was nice enough to drop it below 100. He said he clocked me way over, but asked me how fast I thought I was going. I told him 90-95 last time I checked, and that's what he set the ticket at. The bad part is the fact that it was a Highway Construction Zone, which I was unaware of. That doubled the ticket. I already called about my insurance, and it's "only" going up about $27/month...so it's not too bad.

Just need to learn some self control and get the car to PIR next year to do some roadracing. Keep it off the streets. :nice:

Did you guys have a good turnout last night?

Ya the cop gave me a break to because I had the speed limit doubled and then some so he wrote me only for 99 in the 55 zone that way he said I wouldnt have bail and my car impounded. At the time it wasnt a construction zone so my ticket was only berween 3 and 400 dollars. Anyway starbucks had a awsome turnout, as many people as last week if not more:nice:

You probably should not have told your insurance about the ticket. Depending on how much they update your file, they might not have found out about this ticket for at ~2 years.

For sure Jessie he made a 600 dollar mistake by telling his insurance because his rates wouldnt of changed until they found out like you said depending on the insurance company they only check your driving records every 12 to 24 months:nonono:

Ah, didn't know anything about that.

I called and asked them what it would be, and they just ran a hypothetical situation to tell me what those points would add to my rate. They haven't made any changes yet that I'm aware of.

Could it still not change for a while?

Not sure but next time dont say anything.More than likely it wont show on your driving record until you pay the ticket or go to court. But since you notified them I'm sure they'll be checking soon.
