Start of a project...any advice?

My plans are to run GT-40 Crate motor, Vortech S-trim (10psi) w/aftercooler. . Anything I should know before I sign the check? I have a street/strip car and i plan on consistant 11s. Any feedback on this setup will help. I still havent settled on which intake to use...any suggestions?

I wouldnt go with a crate motor. They dont have the best rep and if something goes wrong, you have to ship it back and thats a headache. I'd find a good local shop and have them build you a motor.
