Start up after winter storage.

I've stored my for several winters now, and I just crank it over for a few minutes let it sit, then fire it up. I've got to pull mine out for emission testing in a few weeks time, then put it back in the garage till the weather is a bit nicer! Every two years I got to fire it up early kinda sucks as I make me want to drive it! Get that darn itch!

myself I pop the inertia in the trunk.... pull the coil wire and crank til I get full oil pressure then let it rip.Starting it all the time does create alot of condensation and isn't recommended unless your can get everything up to full temp to ward off condensation, like a 1/2 hr ride. Plus if you dont do a fresh oil change before storage your just running rank, dirty oil thru your dead cold motor for 10 minutes...Oh the horror !!! Its better off not running at all to me...

Thats prob what Im going to do then. Im running Mobil 1 and have just under 3,000 miles since the last change. Think its necessary to still change the oil before start up?
