Ok So I started the body work and it looks like its going to be more work than I anticipated. Was told it would take about 1/2 to prep the whole car. HAHA. What a joke.. So this is what I have done so far.
Taken the green dish washing pads (The name slips my mind right now) and stripped about 1/2 the car.

All the rust spots I took a grinder too and grinded to the point where it was no rust. Unfortunately it's bare metal.

The front fenders need replaced for sure. On the passengar side door there is a hole about the size of a quarter and about the size of a football where the metal is real weak..

This is my plans for this week
Finish removing all the clear coat and uneven surfaces.
Bondo rust spots
Sand rust spots even with rest of car
A few questions
If I cut and weld where the door rust is how do I sand the weld spots even with the rest of the car
What kind of sheet metel do I use to weld in?
Where do I buy it?

Cut and weld in new sheet metal. 22 gauge will work well. Also then grind the weld down and apply a coat of body filler. Then sand it straight. You can get sheet metal at any metal shop. Look it up in your local phone book.
