Well, i was having to purchase a new starter for my car anyways, and figured i'd go to a mini starter. I searched the issue and didn't really find any answers other than wiring one up. I got a reman unit for a 95gt and wasn't thinking about it fitting properly. Will i run into any unforseen issues?
Right now I cant get the car to turn over. I tested the unit outside the bellhousing and used a pair of jumper cables to ground it to the chassis. But once i installed it into the car, i just get a click at the solonoid switch. I then ran a ground from the top bolt of the starter to the firewall of the car on an existing bolt that was there, and no difference.
Anyone got any ideas?
