Like the title says, when starting the car, the car will fire fine but it seems like the starter gear stays out a few seconds to long and makes horrible noises after the car starts. I previously had a starter off a early 90s thunderbird on my car and now i just put on a starter off of a 90 towncar and both have this problem. I included a picture of how i have the solinoid that is attached to the starter bypassed.. The red line represents the starter wire that runs from that post to the firewall soliniod. The green line represents a smaller wire that runs between the two posts.
