I don't have a serious problem; just kind of annoying... My car starts hard, seems to be worse the longer it sets. It kicks over just fine, just wont fire up right away... I'm thinking possibly a Negative Fuel Feed as it gets worse the longer the car sets ... also if I prime the fuel pump a few times it seems to start up quicker. I'm not sure what else to check, So far I've replaced the Fuel Filter, Added a BBK FPR, and upgraded to a Walbro Fuel Pump, still same situation. Is this a common problem?

Mine starts better now that I got a optima. It never started SUPER slow but it allways seemed a bit slow to me. Like a second mabye.
grab a spare spark plug (old plugs work great). remove a plug wire at the cylinder (pull the wire off the spark plug) and put your old spark plug in the wire. then set the old plug on the upper intake so the threads of the plug are sitting nicely on the plenum (good contact). now situate yourself so you can sit in the car and see the gap across the plug and crank the motor. Then you can see if you have spark.
(Some folks use a nail or something in the boot, but if your air gap is too large, it flaws the test. A bad test is not a good way to begin diagnostics). good luck.

thats how i checked my spark when my MSD went out...i couldnt figure out why my car wouldnt start, then i hooked up my timing light and no flashes=no sparkSimilar threads
