Well I put all of my powder coated stuff back on my car and fired it up acouple of times and now when I try to start it up again it won't. The fuel pump is primering and after that it has one click. Im suspecting the starter anyone agree?

im not sure what all you had powdercoated or what was R/R'd but i would double check your battery connections and the GROUNDS. battery ground and motor ground...remember juice flows from ground to positive.

if still no go, hook up a jumper battery (like a jump start). that will probably rule out the battery.

then go from there. good luck.

one click sounds to me more like the battery or the connection to the starter is weak.

what all did you have powdercoated and how much did you have to put back together?

it seems to me more likely that something came loose when you were putting it all back together than the starter all of a sudden going bad.

well I just started the car just 5 minutes ago so I guess its not the starter, maybe a loose ground some where like stated above.

yep - i would just go over all the bolts you undid and reinstalled, as well as double checking the battery and ground connections. sometimes a cable that is not tightened all the way on a battery can cause intermittant problems like you have.

good luck.
