...nothing to serious yet anyways Wish I could say I was dropping a shortblock or cams or heads on the car...but not Yet anyways

But I am going to be finally installing my front mount intercooler kit. I have a treadstone intercooler with full 3" bead rolled Polished aluminum piping. 3" Pro-M Pro Tube Mass Air meter calb. for 42 lbs injectors. Will also be installing some 42 lbs injectors to replace the current 35's in the car. Then I will be either putting on a 3.3" or 3.0" pulley. Probably going to be the 3.0" but not sure yet.

Once I get it all in it goes to the tuner. Hopefully we can figure out what the fuel problem was before. Since dropping the tank revealed that I did indeed have the 03/04 cobra tank along with pumps etc. Going to replace the battery and hopes that maybe something stupid with it might becausing problems not allowing the dual pumps to draw enough voltage to pump fuel. That or do the wire upgrade to see if that helps. Hoping we can hit 400+ hp/trq. I would like more for sure, but dont want to push it just yet. Id be happy with 425-430 at the wheels in reality haha Once she is all safe on the tune side, its off to the track with some et streets in tow

I will be taking pics throughout the intercooler install. I am starting on it Sat. Hoping to get the cooler mounted up along with some of the pipe work. I can then determine some modifications I need to make because I have the bullet intake. Cant wait to see the intercooler behind my front bumper!

Everything all boxed up....just waiting!!!!

Vortech Mini Race Bypasss

3" Pro-M Pro Tube Meter

Intercooler

Treadstone Intercooler

Proof haha

Get a procharger intake tube for the Bullitt. Or c&l makes a nice cast one that would work with a front mount intercooler. I really want that maf you have sitting there. That is going to be a nice setup. Put a little K&N filter on the end of your bypass valve and cap the hole in the supercharger intake. It makes it sound sick.

I will have to check out what the intake tube looks like from procharger for the bullet, or do you have a pic of your engine compartment? I know Ill need to put in the iat sensor and other thingie haha. The vortech intake pipe should work, just need to put the holes in for the fittings, but I think the MAF will be down farther then I want, not sure yet. Yeah, if you have a pic that would be great!!!

Yeah, I had seen some people put a filter on the bypass and some dont

EDIT

Well I did find this from C&L. Thanks for telling me to look there

http://www.cnlperformance.com/images/bullittpipe003.jpg

It looks identical to the vortech piece, so all I would need to do is weld the bung on and then thread for the iat....which I will probably get a lightning iat because they are threaded design I think if I cam correct

You sir are correct.

Where did you pick up your FMIC setup? Was it piece by piece or some sort of a kit? This is something I've always toyed about doing but am just too lazy to do

I actually found it for sale froma gentleman on modularfords. He already had it custom made and pieced together, so I get the benefit of his hard time etc. Should be pretty easy install, only thing I should have to do that is hard is just getting the correct piece from the t.b. to MAF since I have the bullet intake

Slowly getting some work done!

I got the intake piping off along with the pp and maf. Front bumper gone. Took off old bumper support, and put new cut one on after I painted it. Got intercooler mounted up, just need to secure the bottom yet. Also got the blower end off so I can rotate it. Lightning IAT came in today, so I got that. Now just need to mark the intake piece for the new locations of objects.

Next up is to starting fitting piping and see where some stuff needs to be cut and fixed up etc. Need to size up the hole I need to cut down there the intake pipe and PP go through on the pas. side of the engine compartment as well.

Here are some pics of the along the way progress

New Bumper Support already cut...waiting to be painted...not that it mattered

Got some more done on the car. Pics to come. I got the piping all mounted up the other day except for the pipe from the t.b. to mass air. Going to have to do some custom work as I have the bullet intake so it makes things interesting. I was hoping to be all done, but at least I know it is just one little thing yet till I get to get the car running again and tuned!

Just put a 90 on the end of your intake that you have attached to the bullitt manifold to get the pipe down into the fender. It will be just like the procharger kits. You will probably have to cut the opening in the fender a little bit bigger.

That may not be a shortblock or heads but it is pretty sweet. I like how there aren't very many silicone couplings, my procharger kit has tons of them. Nice smooth bends, high quality clamps. Looks good.

I know nobody cares, but its getting close to being done! FINALLY!!!! Hellion Motorsports came through with a special made for them coupler that goes from oval at the t.b. to 3" circle! I am having the final work done on the intake pipe and its just a few things left. My new air filter will be here tom. from summit and just need a few small pieces from the auto store and this puppy will hopefully crank up and run on Friday! I am only praying she starts and runs and idles like a champ! Got the tender on the battery already since its been sitting for a while, cant wait! Ill get a vid of her finally firing up for sure!
