help, what can i do to stop my raidio from making rpm-based static hum when my car is cold? do i really need to replace the alt? damn im so mad that all thsi junk is going wrong with my car cause i wanted to get a trick flow intake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
That is interference with the car. My friend had it in his MR2--just go down to your local Car Toys/Magnolia Hi-Fi/Radio Shack whatever and tell them; all you have to do is wire in a device to your power line (I think it is the power line) and it will kill it.
Yeah mine does this when i first start it ever since i pegged a fawn last fall. Damn thing couldn't make up its mind, it was raining and i didn't get to a full stop in time....took out my headlight is all, but the radio never hummed until the next morning when i started the car. It's not much of a problem cuz i usually listen to cds, but it's still annoying. Hopefully that works - i gotta try it.
