I was pondering upgrading my heads and intake for a better combo, but was thinking of keeping my cam, which is a Steeda #18. Supposedly it's designed to work well with superchargers, which is in the car's future. Specs for the cam are: Lift: .480 w/1.6 Rockers Duration: 220° @ 0.050 intake Duration: 226° @ 0.050 exhaust Lobe Separation: 112° Recommended RPM Range: 2500 to 6000. What head/intake combo would be best suited for this?

I have the # 18 cam aswell. I am also planning a supercharger setup and heads in the next year and im not too worried about the cam i;ve also heard it works well with a blower. How do u like your cam....hows the power below 2k. Im not going to lie mine is pretty weak until 2500.

Any aftermarket head will do the job. Most people like Twisted Wedge heads or AFR.

I have really been looking into Edelbrock heads for my upcoming N/A build. They seem to be overlooked a lot.

I am pretty sure that the better blower intakes are from Holley or the Performer RPM2.

The cam isn't bad, but it is a little spongy below 2500 RPM's. Then again, the advertised range for this cam is 2500-6000, so you have to expect this. Other than that, I think all my car needs is a good tune to get the most out my current setup. I may just port my lower intake and leave it at that, depends on my $$$ situation.

Not necessarily an answer for you, but a combo none-the-less. I dropped in a rebuild 302 for my wife's 87 GT t-top and I used a Steeda #18 cam, Edelbrock heads, and a Typhoon intake. 30lb injectors, 70mm throttle body and spacer, 70mm maf, 255lph pump. Threw on some upper and lower control arms, and some 3:73's, and with my sig below, it's alot harder to pull away from her now.....
She loves it though!
