I want to lower my car very soon, but I want to do the 5-link suspension down the road (just don't have the $1k to spend on thatright now). I've looked on Steeda's website to see what's all in it and i've seen the ads in magazines but nothing mentioned the short springs.
Since they sell the short springs separate, does the 5-link suspension just not include the springs?? I just don't wanna buy the springs if the 5-link has them included, because i'm tired of my car looking like a jeep! thanks!

Springs not included. Steeda claims you will need new high-rate springs, though.

I'm in the same boat. After reading the Mustang suspension basics article I'm convinced that the 5-link is the way to go for the rear and that a tubular k-member w/coil-overs is the way to go up front. But all this is gonna cost just $2K. That would severely cut into my supercharger fund. But in the meantime, I'm tired of looking at the ugly SUV ride height. Decisions, decisions...

Haha I know what you mean. I want to do suspension and breaks before I do the s/c...but just looking at the costs makes the s/c seem farther away!
I think I'll email Steeda and see what they think about what springs and all.
Thanks!

A blower will let you go faster in a straight line. Fixing the suspension will let you go faster in turns. Which do you want to do more?

This will still be a daily drive, and I just want it to be more stable driving to work and all...even if it rains basically.
I'm willing to pay for suspension...
