cleveland said:You had the right idea, the CALID has to match correctly to your car. Dont even bother using the other files if the CALID doesnt match. The MAC tunes should contain a 91 Octane tune and a 93, you will be informed which is which when just about to impot one of the tunes to the PCM.
The C&L comes with a "performance tune" which notifies you thats its rated for 93 octane upon trying to import it. The other tune is printed as a "91 Tune" in the menu.

I don't have a MAC CAI, it is a Steeda. The tune that matches my CALID is the 93 octance tune. I really don't want a 93 octane tune as first of all it is not at every gas station (unless they only have it at certain pumps ?) and it is expensive. I would go with the 91 octane tune though.
So is your CEL still off cleveland? If it is I might try doing what you said in your previous post until I get an answer from Steeda or DiabloSport.
), but I need to switch over to the premium gas before I try. I am going to probably have to fill up tomorrow and I will give the CAI another go in a day or two.
