Another share for ya:
Installed the Steeda cat back up to my prochamber:
Now...there was some confusion...the pipes were marked L and R...presumably L for driver and R for passenger..
Well..the small pipe between the mac and the muffler, L was actually R as well as the mufflers...looks like they simply put the stickers on wrong. The over axle and tail pipes were marked correctly.
As you can imagine...I felt stoopid...and wondered why the heck I couldn't get it to line up. After playing around, swapping side to side on the floor I snapped a pic of the mixed batch, sent it to Matt down at the Steeda shop in Florida and he confirmed that I was right...
WTF...
Anyway...
After that..install was a breeze...until I got to the passenger over axle to tailpipe.
Had a hard time getting the pipe in on the awkward angle...but after stretching the opening a bit it went in ok.
The brackets that came with the system are far better than any I've ever seen.
They clamp down hard and stay there. Perfect.
This system fits well, only the tailpipes go out to the outside a bit..but not bad..after fiddling...this was the best it is going to be:
The sound is great...nice rumble at idle...and the I'M THE BOSS sound at WOT.
No more annoying flowmaster drone on the highway...
