I found this steeda catback on mustangwarehouse.com

http://www.mustangwarehouse.com/mustang_1.mvc?p=040-13868&Category_Code=V8P6

and in the reviews it says that it runs around 600. why is this catback cheap? It looks very nice according to the picture, and i will buy it if anyone else thinks it is quality.

how does it sound compared to other mufflers? Any input

I don't know why it is so cheap , but if you are looking for anything anywhere near loud, this is not the way to go. This catback is very very quiet. Personally I don't like it because I like LOUD, but it is definetly really good quality stuff for sure.

Well I have flowmasters now, and I'm trying to get away from loud and get something quiet that flows better than flowmasters..... does the steeda work good with an x-pipe?

My exboyfriend used to have the steeda catback and the magnaflow x pipe with hi flow cats and it sounded good. He thought it was too quiet, so he got the Dr. Gas o/r x, then he still thought it was too quiet, so he welded on some 2 chamber flows. I think it sounds awesome now, not as loud as I'd like it, but sounds good.

That's almost too good to be true. When I had it I paid $500ish for it. Notice the other Steeda catbacks are hella expensive? Buy it and see what happens.

$249.95 for a Steeda catback exhaust is insane. I've been looking for awhile and the lowest that I've found is $549.95. I checked the Steeda website and Mustang Warehouse is listed as one of their dealers. Still, it seems to good to be true. Any other opinions?

I just ordered some as well. The deal is too good to pass up. Since the part number matches up, I am hoping that all the right parts are included (e.g., hangers, clamps, bolts, etc.). I also hope that this was not a typo on the part of Mustang Warehouse.

I had great success with mustangwarehouse.com - They were very friendly and even offered advice and support after they had my money! I paid $20 to have my C&L MAF, Trueflow tube, Accufab plenum and TB shipped via USPS Priority and it was delivered 2 days later. (From NY to FL) No complaints at all with these guys.

i emailed them to ask for a tracking number once it was shipped, and they said some bull-crap about how their systems were updatiing last night and they never received my order and that i would have to place it again....i guess they found their mistake when they were getting ready to pack my order. and deleted my order and then raised the price again. Oh well, it was too good to be true.

if you ordered you might wanna e-mail and ask if your order went through.

I received an e-mail confirmation from Mustang Warehouse after I placed my order last night. So they can't say that they did not receive my order. I just now requested the tracking number. I will let you know what happens.

If you like quality Cat-Back alla sleeper this the way to go. My car still isn't very loud.

BTW, call MWH on there . It doesn't matter if they lost it or not. The price advertised when you ordered your stuff is all that matters. They must honor the $249.95 price regardless. It's the law my friend. Can you say Tort Court? Threaten lawsuit and they'll buckel.

Hey, if the exhaust is quite it is restrictive! That's the purpose of baffles. You can't have it both ways.

Well it says 8-10 RWHP, so it must not be too restrictive, I assume 8 being the least amout gained probably on the Bullitt and the best 10 I would think on the Mach 1.Also is it quieter than stock?Cuz I want something quiet when I go to do exhaust after my warrenty runs out at 36K ( glad I went with 36K instead of 75K cuz I would hate for them to void my warrenty if I put on some mods...36K should go by pretty fast). Thanks

I wish that were true...on their website, it states that they are not responsible for typographical errors on their website.

I also received a confirmation email last night but they still denied it today. I say we write a nice little letter and see if we can get it taken care of. THey told me their systems were updating....if they were updating then why did it take my order and send me a confirmation e-mail?????
