When I got this 94 GT I didn't like the clutch engagement point the previous owner had on it, so I lowered the engagement point (closer to the floor) and I noticed that the trans started making this loud squeeking noise whenever my foot wasn't on the clutch pedal.
Had a friend of mine look at it, and he adjusted something on the trans end of the clutch cable setup to try and alieviate the problem. Long story short, the trans still squeeks but now the pedal is much higher and the cable adjustment on the firewall is turned all the way to the firewall now.
So, I'd either like to know how to change this back to the way it was so at least the engagement point is back to normal, or ideally, how to put the engagement point back to normal AND get rid of that rotating-sort-of squeeking sound that happens when my foot isn't on the clutch. That squeeking happens whether the car is in gear or not, but only when my foot isn't putting some level of pressure on the clutch pedal.
