I just installed the steeda quadrant and adjuster with a stock cable. (85 gt 5.0 convertible) The cable is not long enough so i reinstalled the stock bushing instead of the fire wall adjuster. Still not longe enough, there is no play in the pedal. There is only a 1/2 inch beetween the clutch fork and the bell housing, could this be the problem. The clutch fork being to far aft?. I will order the adjustable cable but im not really sure that will help. It seems like the pedal will still be to high.

Thanks
B. Matt
Sorry for posting the same old tiresome question

you should have plenty of adjustment with the adjustable cable.

there is suppose to be a little tension on the throw out bearing when everything is installed correctly.
