just installed steeda sport springs on my 01. just about an inch or inch & 1/4 drop so far, will it drop any farther once they are broken in a bit, or is this pretty much all i'm gonna get w/out removing isolators? do springs really settle after a couple of weeks? will post some pics tomm.

Yes Dave on your 01 they are most likely at 1"-1.25" and
will settle Dave from 1"-1.25" - 1.5" in about two weeks
too a month.Good choice on the Steeda Sport springs
they always make for a great drop! :nice:

here is a pic of now. still doesn't look as much as others have gotten; but check before pic below, mine was a real 4x4.

Hey guys, I'm in the market for a set of new springs for my 01 GT also. I was planning on going with Steeda too. But I wasn't sure on which type of spring. Should I get the sport springs or the competition springs? I totally want to get rid of that dreaded 4x4 look! I don't want to the car always be bottoming out over every little bump though. I was just wondering what your opinions were and if anybody has the competition springs.

do not remove the isolators. when i put mine on, i wanted a lower stance so i got rid of mine. now, i hear grinding over bumps due to the metal on metal. bad idea, because it is a pain to put them on, much less get the initiative to drop your suspension to fix something that you are already satisfied with.
