Hey Everyone,

I'm posting this for my friend, who has an 03 GT. He has the Steeda springs (about 1.5" drop??) and we recently installed KYB shocks this past weekend. Anyways, he went to finally go get his alignment done, and the shop told him that he would need Caster/Camber plates to avoid excessive tire wear. I just wanted to see who else was running the Steeda springs with or without Caster/Camber plates. Also, does it sound like Caster/Camber plates will be necessary to keep his tires from wearing un-evenly?? Any info. will help, thanks guys.:nice:

I have an '02 with the Steeda Sport Springs and I definitely needed CC Plates. One of the old tires I had up front (after I rotated them to the rear) separated between the sidewall and tread! These were BFG's so they weren't horrible tires either. I put a set of MM Plates up front and have had no problems at all. :nice: But yes...my tires wore badly without the plates and I did rotate them every 4000 miles or so. My .02 is he should get them.

I have the Steeda Sport Superlites and Tokicos and dropped 1.5 inch and didn't need CC plates. My alignment is perfect...i will add them later down the road when i do the MM front coilover kit.
