Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter Install question

I just installed a Tri-Ax in my 08 GT today (santa brought it) and now it sounds like I have developed a transmission whine during acceleration. Everything is tight, and I did install one shim washer on each side at the back end of the shifter. Any suggestions? It does seem to shift OK.

Sounds like you may be getting a bit of NVH from the stiffer bushing. Are you resting your hand on the shifter while driving? If so....don't

Did the shifter come with some dynomat? All our latest Tri-Ax's have a small bit of this to reduce this kind of NVH.

It did come with some Dynomat, and I do tend to rest my hand on the shift knob. I guess I will have to lose my hand rest! BTW, the "whine has lessened quite a bit in the last few days.

Yes the arm rest must go, the shifters absorb NVH through the bushing and if you lay your hands on it you crush it.
