I have had mine on the car for nearly 2 yrs and never had that problem, but I did seal it with "The Right Stuff" sealant so it locks the bolts in good.

If so its internal.
Time for a six speed I guess. Car only has 21K miles.Lazer2KGT said:I should have mentioned it doesn't do it when it's cold, but as it warms up, yes it gets worse. It come and goes. It does clatter while idling in nutrel with the clutch out. When I put in the 4V and started the engine for the first time, I let the car idle with the front end elevated (pretty hi) so I could purge the air out of the cooling system. I heard this clacking sound and thought it was the engine, but it was the tranny, like it starved the input bearing of oil. When I put the car flat it didn't make the noise again. Maybe I fried something in the tranny. I wouldn't think that having the front end elevated would do this.Time for a six speed I guess. Car only has 21K miles.
