does any know if you can swap a 90-93 mustang steering column for a 87-89 steering column

yes you can , just make sure your front wheels are straight and your steering wheel is straight and u need the plastics from the tilt colum ... it takes some yanking to pull it out but it's not that hard .. then u just plug and play i had to paint the tilt platics because they were a lighter black

I thought there were some wires that needed to be switched around in the plugs also

yeah i think it was my cruise control wires that you had to splice but i went with a grant wheel so i didnt bother with it

yes its pretty easy.. the tilt column is longer so make sure you get a 87-89 wheel or after market wheel to go with it.

I am finishing up this same swap. Does anybody no which wires need spliced or switched?

would like to do this swap as well can u just swap the interior portion of the column? and can i remove my ignition switch from my 93 and install it in the 97-89? thanks
