Hey guys quick question! Driving around in my 96 auto today noticed when 50mph or above when hitten the breaks the steering wheel shakes a ton, what the heck can be causing this????????????

maybe warped brake rotors. still have the stockers? I had the same with my 96gt auto, then swapped for some slotted and was good. Now i'm doing the Bullitt 13" upgrade...but check the rotors

thanks man i just put new rotors on about 2,000 miles ago! but i will check them again!

just cause there new doesnt mean there straight ive seen many that have come out of the box untrue (aka have been dropped) either that or you have a heavy braking foot like my ex..but thats more than likely the cause, take them to a shop and have them machined

That is most likely warped rotors. Holding the brakes hard when going over a bump will throw a warp in them... www.fordracingparts.com has some cool drilled slotted ones for cheap...
