Steering rack problems

Hello to everyone i have a 1994 GT 5.0 mustang the rack has a lot of slack in it replaced it twice dosent seam a lot better it has new tie rod ends,struts, lower ball joints.Is there a shim kit to take the slack out? Or di i get 2 bad racks they came from advance. Its power steering dont thing i have saw one that wasent any suggestions thanks for you time and have a great day

Did you replace the steering rack mounts? How's the rag joint on the steering shaft?

Thanks for your reply yes replaced the bushings and check all the joints seem tight replaced the other things i listed just cant figure out why it had all the slack.Its ok on new pavement it has directional tires 245/45/17 and their new thanks again for the reply and have a great day.

did you check the steering shaft bearing that goes through firewall.

the best rack to buy?

Hello what is the best rack to buy for 94 GT 5.0. Think i will buy another rack and see if that fixes the problem Have a great day
