so its time to replace my powersteering rack. A few questions:

1. 20:1 ratio or 15:1 ratio, what the difference?
2. reguar bushings or off set rack bushing? (Which do I need?)
3. Can anybody attest to the quality of these 50resto parts?

This is what im considering:

its how many times it lock to lock. the 1 u turn the wheel 20 times from all the way from 1 side to the other side. the other is only 15 times. the offset is to help with lowered cars.

Never use offset rack bushings on a stock K-member. Never

Why offset rack bushings are a bad idea for stock K-members

Although sold by many as a supposed cure for bumpsteer, installing offset steering rack bushings on a stock K-member make an acceptable situation far worse than if you had done nothing at all. How do we know this? Because we did testing. We measured the bumpsteer, both with and without offset rack bushings. Our test results were first published in the July 1993 issue of Super Ford. Find more information about bumpsteer and available kits.

Put offset rack bushings in my Capri. Ran my steering shaft too close to the header. Found out later the column could be loosened and moved some. But I had already taken them out. Its also a 351w so the clearance aint much.
I wanna see the steering 20 turns lock to lock LMAO..sorry.
