I thought GT came stock with tilt steering wheel? But mine doesn't. I used to have a 89GT and it had tilt, I was looking through my old 89 owner manual and it said it was an opinion for lx's but stock on GT, did it change in 92???

Yes, I believe it changed in 90 when they first put in the air bags. This got rid of the tilt wheel.

i hate the look of those steering wheels with air bags in the 87-93 fox bodys, if i got one with air bags, id go rip a normal steering wheel out of one in a junk yard with tilt and install it in mine.

How easy would it be to rip my non-tilt, air-bag steering wheel out and put in a tilt-wheel on my 90GT??

It's kind of a pain, you will need to use the whole wheel+steering column from an 87-89 car. Once you get it in there, you'll need to find something to cover up the gap between the different column covers and gauge bezels, unless ofcourse you were to find a gauge bezel from an 87-89 car as well, then i think it would mate up perfect.
