steering wheel noises

sup everyone, not sure if anyone remembers me. I havnt posted on stangnet in ages.

anyways, i have some noises coming from my steering wheel. the noises sounds like some kind of grinding noise coming from right where it rotates. has anyone had this problem? im planning on pulling the steering wheel off tomorrow to take a look back there and i was wondering what if there is something in peticular i should be looking for. thanks in advance.

no thats not what it was. i got in there today and pulled off everything. There is a spring that wraps around the shaft in the steering column that was making the noises. we lubed it up with some silicone lubricant and its fine now. hopefully it stays that way.
