I'm already above 6* on caster. Shortly I'll test the inside column, then also, AGR instructed me on how to tighten the pinion engagement. If that doesn't fly, I'll buy a new rack from summit and return this one.
Seeing as i also have this problem i am hopeing you figure it out. I havent really been looking that hard as of yet. I am glad i did not throw a steering shaft at it but i will probably end up getting one anyway.
whats funny is that my 94 feels sloppy as s#!t but my 02 feels just like any other new car, tight and nice road feel, the suspension is roughly identical in both??? I have done 2 new racks, bumpsteer kit, poly bushings, 2 shafts...the only thing i have not done is change the steering colum, the power steering pump and the front control arms.
Keep us posted, I have an 03 cobra shaft on mine, and when i checked under the dash it seems that the u-jount by the steering wheel on the shaft is where it's coming from, it feels like it might not quite be tight enough but i guess the only way for me to find out os spring for the MM unit, when i hold the shaft and turn the wheel it has NO play, just seems somethings happening on the u-joint.
That's the first place I'm looking, under the dash. I found an old thread on here that pinpointed exactly where under the dash to look. I saved it to my favorties on my home computer and I'll be using it as a reference tonight. I'll you guys know what I find.

If I could find a 03-04 cobra rack, I'd get it, but OEM racks are fetching $500 from the dealers and there's no guarantee on which rack you actually get.
