What is the easiest way to removal a steering wheel. I took off the nut. I have read where you can pop it off by hand. I tried that no help.. Ther are two threaded holes that I believe are to unseat the wheel. If these holes are to unseat the wheel, does anyone know what size bolt I should use to do this???

The holes are 5/16"-24 thread.

I didn't have to use a puller on mine, but I think a steering wheel puller would attach to these holes in order to crank down on the center shaft.

Exactly what Tim said; and that's the same puller I have.

You can also put the nut back on untill it is flush with the end of the shaft (to protect the threads), then pull on the wheel with your knees while tapping the nut with a "deadblow" mallet. They usually come off pretty easily that way.

That looks like the puller I need, I am going to try the mallet knee method and I see what happens. Thanx...
