Ok here is my problem. My steering wheel shakes like a MF whne i'm braking. At first i thought is was a warped rotor, so i changed all 4.. Determined that it's coming from the driver side wheel. I'm thinking it's the wheels bearing so now i'm going to buy a new assembly..

what do you guys think evre heard of that?

Mine has started doing that since I took out a curb drifing.. I just figured I was horribly unaligned.. which.. I am.. and since I just replaced the rotors didn't think it'd be them..

For fun, you can check the run out on your new rotor on the problem wheel. If your lug nuts were not properly torqued or the caliper is dragging, it can warp again quickly. You can rig up a base and use a dial indicator to check the run-out.

Good luck.

Ditto ... Have the same problem. I attribuited it to a warped rotor (they're going on 11 years old).

I have the same problem, but its from a slightly bent wheel from hitting a curb last winter. Costs $100 to straighten the wheel out.

Just get them turned at CSK or AutoZOne for $8 then make sure you torque them evenly when you put them back on. I put brand new rotors on and they warped like a month later. The steering wheel shook so bad it sounded like it was going to rattle itself loose. I found out that the tire shop torqued them all differently. I torqued them properly after getting them turned and so far so good for the past few months.
