When driving, I get a lot of "road feel" in the steering wheel. When I go over a bump, I can feel the wheel shake a little bit... almost like it's loose or something is broken, thus allowing the movement to annoy me. I recently installed outer tie rods and ball joints and the suspension is stock. I know that there are 2 (i think) bolts that hold the steering wheel that are located near the dash. I want to tighten those but do not know how to get to them. How do I remove that black boot/cover/housing thing that's around the steering wheel? I am afraid that I will break it. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
