I put a Pioneer h/u on my car with the mach 460. I have speaker whine coming in now, but her is the hitch. The buzz is only coming through my drivers side tweeter. Also the high notes like symbols and other beats are not nearly as audible on the drivers side as on the passenger side, Please help it is annoying as hell.

I have same exact problem...except with an alpine head unit. Any help would be much appreciated.

well...could it be that THAT tweeter has a malfunction throughout the whole batch of vehicles in it? like its defective and it shorted out cuz of the headunit maybe giving it too much power and it screwed it up? have you tried running new cables to the tweeter to see if thatd get rid of it?

if you have the mach system you are probably having a grounding issue. what harness are you using? if i am not mistaken with the 460 there are three diferent styles, one style allows for the amps to be used, the others do not.

if you have tyeh one with the stock amps being used then you might want to pull the HU out, remove the ground wire from the harness, and attach the ground wire from the HU to any nearby bolt in that dash area. this SHOULD take care of it.

I had to get this adapter for the wiring. I got it at radio shack and it has 4 volume nobs on it. I adjusted the speakers by that then followed by the adustments on my Alpine. 97gtconv..
