replacing the head unit and not re-using anything that i don't need.. I figure all i need is....

12v constant memory feed
12v illumination feed
12v ignition feed
ground wire

any tips before i pop open the console on where i will find these???
are these wires in a separate harness from the speaker wires??
any advice would be great! thanks-- Mike

I'll be installing 3 amps, so can i take out the factory harness if it's separate from the power feeds??

Those should be the only ones you need. I think my speaker wires and the main power, ground and illumination wires were all on the same harness. What kind of amps are you installing...just curious...

amps are JBL's... 2 100w 2 channel amps for replacement front and rear polk components, and one 800w mono amp for 2-12" polk momo subs

Thats all you need!
The power wires are on a seperate harness..Makes it really easy to find!

Matt... all 4 of these are alone in a separate harness? I'm sure the 12v. constant and the ground would be, but... the other 12v's too? or do i need to steal them off the speaker wire harness?
