I replaced my old control valve assembly a while ago as it was worn out and creating all sorts of issues.
The new valve has remedied all of those issues and been working quite nicely except for one thing. When the motor/ps/etc has warmed up completely, the steering gets really stiff at low RPM or low speed. Blipping the throttle doesnt really help that much and riding the clutch is a pain to turn corners when parking.
Is it possible that there is some adjustment in the valve that can affect this? The old valve was much much much easier at the same RPM's.
The other thing I thought is maybe the p/s fluid thins out too much once its warm, however the ATF fluid in their now is pretty much new and the system had been flushed when the new valve went on.
Any suggestions?
(P.S. I am now running a KRC pump as well but the issue was present with the old ford pump)
