Still debating mufflers

I was all set to buy some Dynomax bullets but then my friend with an Lt1 Transam warned me against them. He has them in place and is removing them because he says they're TOO loud. I want a loud, mean, exhaust. However, I want to be able to hear music inside my car too. He said he could never hear his stereo. Are dynomaxes THAT bad? Are 1 chamber flows much quieter? I don't want to go as quiet as 2 chamber flows, but I want to hear my stereo too.

Yes they are loud, but not with a catted pipe. With an o/r pipe they are monsters.

I have a Bassani O/R X-pipe, but im getting pcats put on. Hopefully, itll still be loud with some Dynomax Bullets.

-How much do they cost and where did you guys purchase them? Are they SS?

you can get them from www.summitracing.com for about $70 a pair, they are not stainless. I would be willing to call up anyone so that they can listen to the car., just pm me with phone #.

Tranzlucent, I've heard some soundclips before but its kinda hard to tell without being there in person.. With your Race Bullets and X pipe, can you hear your radio during normal driving? Talk to a passenger? Thanks

You can hear your radio and speak with a passenger, just not during 1700-2100. Solution to that would be to go with different gears or go faster or slower.

They sound a little more crisp that flowmasters and a little deeper. Don't know how they flow or anything like that. Where did you get your custom 3rd brake light and what is it?

looks better in person. When the car is off or you're not braking, the brake light looks totally normal. When you brake, instead of just having the lights come on, it spells out Mustang with two 'stangs beside it.
