Still doesnt fit,

I went to replace my outer tierod ends the other week and the 69 mustang tierods went thru hole and when i tieghned the nut it ran out of threads before it tighned, So i bought 1977 granada outertierods end, Now the tierod wont fit thru hole>>>Is there a way to correctly identfy my spindles? so i can replace the right tierods ends? Help please

Look on the backside of the spindles. There should be a part#. Something like c9z or d0z. See if you can find these numbers.

Is he right < will there be those casting numbers?

yes, try 70 stang outer tie rods, i'll bet that's what you have

yes, the casting numbers will be there. although might be hard to see. you might need to brush it with a wire brush.
the casting #'s on both sides for both mustang and granada/monarch are on the arm the connects to the upper balljoint. here is an example of the '70 mustang casting numbers. granadas are in a different format. let us know what you see.
