still have a vibration

when i release the clutch and press the gas to accelerate i get a pretty bad vibration.i thought maybe it was the trans. mount cause it was old so i replaced that.that didnt help anything so i thought it was prolly the ujoints,soooo i replaced them,front and rear, and it still didnt help.any ideas???could it be worn motor mounts or what??

Do you know what shape your flywheel is in?

not really...i dont think it should be bad i replaced everything(flywheel,clutch,pressure plate,to bearing and pilot shaft bearing) about six months ago

In neutral or in gear?

You said you did the u-joints, is the drive shaft origional? mabey it is out of balance.

you need to isolate it, not hard to do.


are you talking a vibration, or clutch chatter? like whole car shakes as you release clutch on takeoff?

hi guys. if you ever find out what it is post it on here, my stang is doing the same thing....i've replaced the flywheel, clutch and bearings, next thing will be the ujoints. hopefully we find a cure to this weird vibration.

Take a good look at it and see if the rubber is cracked and falling out.

ok,its when you let out on the clutch that it is the worst.it starts to smooth out a little as you accelerate.the shifter is shakin real bad( and it is tight) there is no vibration at idel.......

Did you look and see if the trans seal is good, and did you mark the driveshaft, sometimes they like to go back in the same way.
