I've got a stock (1800?) converter that I bought new for a C4 for my '65 that I put fluid in and never used, all I did was put it on the tranny and put it into the car to fabricate SS tranny lines, then decided against it. I've gotten rid of everything except this converter. I already have a 50 oz. flexplate from a AOD.....

Well, I'd think if you're just driving it on the road and not racing it, it would be fine. I'm also thinking that it would flash higher than 1800 rpm because that's on a stock engine making 200-225 at the flywheel, maybe 2000 or 2200?

I seem to recall I gave about $80 for it when I bought it, but I'll have to look at it to see if it's 24 or 26 spline. I dunno, $40 plus shipping?
