Well the mothers power ball took alot of tarnish and such off the wheels but I am still not stisfied with the look as they are kinda dull..what else can I try? There must be some well kept detailer scret that someone can lend out to a fellow stangnet member in need! Anyone?

This is what I do that works the best for me:

I use a 2.5" polishing arbor on a 2500rpm drill. I smear the Mother's polish, (or whatever polish you use) all over the wheel and then go to town. I let the drill do the work and it always comes out looking like new. There is a tool for every job.

If you go to sears they have these compound bars with different strength levels. Use a tougher one like a gray and then go to white for a final polish. You can also buy a set of polishing wheels for your drill. The bars and wheels should cost you around $15. Make sure you use a different wheel for each bar or they will mix the different compounds together and it will be hazy. If you do it correctly, they will BLING!. I had polished wheels that went through winter and looked like butt. My brother who does car resto's does this to his stainless and it looks like chrome. Turned out great. Took a while, but worth it in the end.
