Still cannot get power to the fuel pump on my 66 EFI conversion. I can wire the MSD pump straight to the battery and it runs. No signs of life when hooked as directed on the Motorsport harness instructions. I have checked the wiring about 50 times, have power everywhere I think I should. 1st question, how can I determine if the ECM is powering up, and 2nd question: Does anyone other there have a valid number for Ford Motorsport tech. On the bottom of the instructions that came with my kit (on every page of the instructions) it gives (313)-337-1356. I found another number on the newer instructions for the harness of (810)-468-1356. No go for either number. The 313 number is no longer in service, and the 810 number gives some automated message from Ford. Nothing has been easy during the last 2 1/2 years of the build, but this is almost out of my league as far as troubleshooting past what I have done. BTW, I have replaced both the ECM and fuel pump relay and the insersa switch is is working (no voltage, but a solid connection when not tripped). One thing I did think of, I do not have any of the smog solenoids connected to anything, I would expect to see the check engine light lite, but I think I should still get a fuel pump on command.

first thing to check is to see if you are getting power to the relay, both the energizing side, and the load side. if you do not have power there, then check to see if you are getting power to the ecm. also check your grounds.
