Well at the track I was fighting an over heating problem and couldn't figure it out. I backed out the inital timing from 15* to 10* and thought that fixed it but still was overheating on the way home and I can't figure out whats causeing it. It was only 75 or so last night. It would over heat and boil the water out of my rad and blew the hose, wasn't a very good hose though, off the rad to the recirculating tank so it couldn't suck it back in. I don't think that was the problem though I'm thinking there might be something more to it. Somebody suggested a warped head maybe causing it to boil the water? :Damnit:

Yup,

If your thermostat is opening and all else in the cooling system is well it could be a blown head gasket.

Check your oil for water.

If it is a head gasket pull off the heads and have them resurfaced.
