Stinger question

Hi,

I've heard that aftermarket midpipe with the Stinger will distort the sound. Is that true? Has anyone changed their stock pipe for aftermarket H or X?

As for your question, i have a Borla also and wanted to had a mid-pipe without changing sound to much. To do so , i ll have to go X Catted. That is what i understand for asking a few poeple, including here.

thnx. I appreciate it. I think i might just try the o/r Hpipe. I know that h pipes usually give a deeper tone than x's, and it just might hold that deep tone of stinger.

I've heard ppl using x's w/ the stinger too, but i've already gotten the o/r h on my stang, so i guess i'll just give it a try. Also, i know that w/ stock h' on cobras, the stingers sound reallly good.
