Stingers w/Pypes O/R H

Anybody have a sound clip of the stingers with o/r h set-up? I had the O/R h installed with FRPP GTA's and did not like the "tin" sound and trumpeting. These stinger mufflers sound lower, so I am curious if it might be worth putting the o/r h back on...

If you didn't like the trumpeting with the GTA's, you're in for a suprise with the Stingers! I had an O/R H with the Stingers and the trumpets were unbearable, to me at least. At wide open throttle, they were ok, but anything less was bad.

I put the resonators on to kill the trumpets and tone it down a little and think it came out perfect. I have a couple of vids in my signature. The vids are only sitting still revving, but I'll try and get some more later underload.

Edit: oops, I thought I did, let me hunt them up and I'll post them in a little bit...

do the stingers sounds tinny with the stock midpipe?? also is the pipes violator a straight threw muffler, like the stingers?? and what is the difference between and straight threw muffler and staight pipes??

I didn't think the Stingers sounded tinny at all with the stock pipe, it just wasn't quite loud enough. I can't answer the question on the violators, I've never had them, but the difference between a straight through muffler and straight pipe is the mufflers are typically cylinders with perferations around the inside of them to help absorb some of the sound passed through them. I'm sure there is more to them then that, but when I look in mine, that's all I see.

Straight pipes are well, just that, they are just straight pipes with no mufflers or anything.
