Hey Gents,
I bought a 2000 GT a few months ago and have noticed a burning oil smell since I've owned it but it typically only stinks when I drive for 15mins or more and somewhat spirited. I cannot for the life of me find an oil leak in the engine compartment or the under carage. The smell also seems to be coming from under the car not the engine bay and the car is not burning oil or smoking to any degree.
A little history on the car, I bought it from Chic in her late 30's that drove it like grandma's buick. 2500 rpm shifts and never on it. She was the original owner and drove in short trips back and forth to work. The car only had 32000 on it when i bought it and only has 33500 now. Any help would be appreciated. Oh one thing I might add, there is a little bit of "oil like" grime on the rear seam of the mufflers but I'm not so sure how oil would work its way down there. Please help.
Thanks,
-Feared

Anywho...the guy that sold me the car has 3 brand spankin' new vans for his business (registered to his address) sitting out in front of his house as well as a brand new Escalade. He didn't roll the odometer back because he needed money, I'll tell you that right now.
