Stock "03/"04 cobra exhaust setup?

i met a guy last night with an '03 cobra. it sounded pretty wicked to me so i inquired about his exhaust setup. he said stock with weld-in flowmasta orig. 40s. it sounded way to loud to have a stock midpipe so i got on me belly and looked at his midpipe. it looked like an x. he said it was stock and that cobras have only 1 cat per side as opposed to my GTs 2. what is the factory exhaust setup on an '03/'04 cobra? it thot is was teh stupid 2.25" tubing with a gay h-pipe and 4 cats. any help from u SVT fellas is appreciated

Yup. H with 2 cats per side. I wonder if he was the original owner of that car or bought it used and just didn't know what all had been done to it already?

Yup, H pipe with 4 cats.....though for me it didn't stay that way for long.

he was the second owner of it but him and his buddy, who owns a local mustang tuning shop,(kinda scary) swore up and down that cobras came factory with an x-pipe and only 1 cat per side. retards.

I just saw those guys in town the other day. It had a Bassani catted X. The idiot swapped it out for a MAC o/r h-pipe and sold the x for $20.
