Looking for ideas mod wise, 04 GT auto w/ shift kit, everything else BONE STOCK, really pushing for a supercharger but worried about reliability. Have Roughly 6 grand to spend...... What would you do?

Put in rear end gears, get Hitech cams if you want to stay N/A, shift kit, a bunch of bolt on's...

If you s/c it you can just your tuner tune it conservatively and it will be very reliable. You'll also probably want to get a stall for it and gears. That'll be beast

if you have the money, I would go with a blower, hands down.

Another vote for the blower. As long as you don't have a super aggressive tune the car will be very reliable. I have had a blower on my car now for 3 years now and even after I added the built mottor, cams, and upped the boost, I still haven't had one problem with the car and have taken in on numerous 100+ mile trips.

Kenne Bell or Tork Tech supercharger kit.

If you go with the Tork Tech you will have money left over for gears, exhaust, better tires.

don't be a wuss. Get it blown. You don't want your bolt-on GT getting whooped by a Hyundai, do you?

Get a BLOWER, hands down best bang for the buck. you should be able to put down at least 350rwhp with just about any 6psi kit. You could even do it on the cheap if you can find a good deal on a used head unit and piece everything together from there. Thats what I did and it only cost me 2600 I think (may not be exact but its close) that would leave you a but load of cash left over for other mods like suspension. you could even build yourself a SB on the cheap or build a custom FMIC. The possibilities are endless with 6gs on tap it just depends on what you want to do. I know because in about 8 months I will have about 8gs to play with and have re-thought my build countless times to stretch the cash as far as possible.

Go for the blower. Like everyone says you will have $$ left over for other mods.
You will not be disappointed. I guarantee.

Seeing as its stock, I'd sell it and use the extra 6k to buy an 03/04 Cobra.

You may have to save a little more but it'd be worth it. 6 speed, 4v, forged, supercharged, IRS. Etc. Youd have to spend a lot more than 6k on the GT to get that lot, and it still wouldnt be a cobra.

I would go for a 3600+ stall 4.10's get some sticky tires for it and spray it if you don't have enough left for a SC

either that or just get the SC and then do the stall and gears later
