what is the 1/4 mile time of a stock 2003 mustang gt with a 5 spd and perfect conditions and traction? i have been reading between 14.1-14.8. then i read on a site or two 13.9. so what is it? also what kind of times am i looking at with the mods in my sig with 4.10 gears and an accufab plenum and 70mm throttle body

Under "perfect" conditions with "perfect" driving most are running in the 14.2-14.5 range. There are the odd ones you hear about dipping into the high-13's but that's as rare as rocking horse ****. For all intensive purposes, they're low 14-second cars that most run into the mid/high 14's.

With the mods in your sig, expect to knock about 2-3 tenths off of the time above, but again....that's with "perfect" conditions and a "perfect" driver behind the wheel. Expect to stay in the mid/low 14-second zone if you're not anything more than an "average" driver.

my 99 auto went 14.2@96-97 stock... with all bolt-ons with 3:73s went 13.4@103.. my buddy had a bonestock 99 went 14.2 with a 2.2 60ft he put a fuego tuner on it and got the 60ft to a 2.0 and ran 13.88

i got my buddys car bonestock w/k&n 02 5spd to a 14.1

My bone stock 97 GT ran 14.67@94mph. That was with a pretty crappy 2.2 or a high 2.1 60' time.

With some more practice and an offroad pipe, I got a best of 14.27@96 and I can consistently run 14.4s. I want to wait for perfect weather, to bolt on the nittos and go for a 13.999 with a 5k rpm launch. :D
